about the photographers
what began with a simple pinhole camera, quickly became a true passion for cassa + kimber. they studied photography together as teenagers and realized they'd found something very special. photography is near and dear to their hearts not only becuase it's a passion, but becuase it also brought them closer as sisters and best friends.
aquainting themsleves to photography with their self-made pinholes, they moved onto playing with film photography using vintage cameras and developing and printing all of their own photographs in the darkroom. their hands on approach makes for a detail-oriented team.
later on, they gave digital photography a shot and learned that even though they'd be leaving their beloved darkroom, there was a lot they could do with their new found form of photography. throughout the years, they formed a cohesive team, and The Two Photography , was "developed." both sisters bring unique elements to projects which makes for a "two is better than one," kind of philosophy.
they still collect film cameras of all kinds and have a lot of fun experimenting with traditional film.
